The questions support receives most often. The answers are short; the details are behind the links.
Signals and trades
The channel wrote that the take-profit was reached, but my trade is still open. Channel notifications are theoretical: they say the price touched a level. Your order may not have been filled — the price only grazed the level with a candle wick and moved away. This is normal. Why channel notifications are theoretical.
The profit percentages in the channel do not match mine. You have your own entry price, your own fees, leverage and settings — by definition they will not match. The channel says TP was hit, but I did not get it.
The bot did not open a trade from a signal. The bot always sends a specific reason: the limit of open trades, a disabled direction, the pair in the blacklist, no stop, not enough funds, keys without permissions. What happens after a signal is published.
An opposite signal arrived for a pair where I already have a position. In One-Way mode the bot closes the old position and opens a new one in the opposite direction. If the close fails, the entry is rejected with an explanation. One signal per pair.
A signal got the status “⌛ Expired”. The signal was tracked for 30 days and finished neither at the targets nor at the stop; it is removed quietly. Signal statuses.
I left the channel and the bots stopped trading. That is by design: when you leave a channel, the bots connected to it are unsubscribed. Join again and reconnect the bot. How to leave a channel.
The stop order was removed and the position stayed open. The exchange could not fill the stop — there was no volume at that price. Place the stop again a bit further from the price, or close the position by hand. Stop-Loss could not be placed.
After a trade was cancelled, some coins stayed on the exchange. That is dust — a remainder smaller than the minimum order, which the exchange will not accept for sale. Use the small balance conversion on Bybit or wait for the price to rise. Dust on spot.
The bot warns about high leverage. At 25x a 4 % price move can lead to liquidation, at 50x a 2 % move, at 100x a 1 % move. To avoid taking the leverage from the signal, set your own in the trading settings. Leverage.
Grid and DCA
“Symbol is already used” when creating a Grid or DCA bot. On the same keys only one bot or one signal trade can work on a given pair. Stop the conflicting bot or use another exchange bot. Symbol is already used.
“Insufficient balance” when creating a bot. The bot needs the strategy amount plus a 10 % buffer for fees and price swings. Top up the balance or reduce the amount, the number of levels or orders, or the leverage. Insufficient balance.
“The order value is below the exchange minimum”. Every pair has its own minimum order size. Increase the amount per level or per cycle, or reduce the number of orders — the bot tells you the figure. Range, levels and amount.
The Grid bot stopped: the price went out of the range. The grid works only inside the range. When the price comes strictly back inside, the bot resumes by itself; otherwise you can widen the bounds, recreate the grid, switch Trailing on or close the bot. Grid bot protections.
The DCA bot has not started for a day. Most likely the start condition is not met: RSI, a moving average or an external signal. The bot sends a reminder with the 🚀 Start manually button. Start conditions.
“Grid bot requires One-Way position mode”. Switch the position mode in the Bybit settings or use different keys. Switching is only possible when there are no open positions and orders. One-Way position mode is required.
The bot was paused by the system — what should I do? The reason is in the message. Grid: fix it and tap ▶️ Resume. DCA: the current cycle is finished, and new ones do not open until you tap ▶️ Start. Stopped by the system: reasons.
Keys, protection, interface
“API key is invalid” or “API keys do not have the required permissions”. Reissue the key on Bybit with the Spot Trading permission (for a spot bot) or Derivatives / Contract (for a futures one) and update it: bot card → Bot settings → Update API keys. Updating API keys.
The kill switch fired and everything stopped. The total balance fell by the percentage you set. Check the positions, then use 🔄 Reset trigger or 🔒 Disable kill switch. How to reset the trigger.
I started creating a bot and did not finish — it disappeared. Unfinished bots are deleted after 7 days. Just start the creation again.
“Too many requests, please wait N sec”. The bot accepts no more than 30 requests per minute. Wait — the account is not blocked. Too many requests.
The bot ignores my text. Text input works only on the screens where the bot expects it. Elsewhere, use the buttons.
Trade notifications do not arrive. Check whether the notification bot is connected: main menu → 🔔 Notifications → “Notification chat connected ✅”. Without it you will not see a single event. Notification bot.
