Notification bot: connecting, /stop and /start

Everything that happens with your trades and bots — an entry, a take-profit hit, a pause, a protection that fired — arrives not in the main bot but in a separate notification bot@Sync_trading_notifications_bot. You connect it once; without it you will not see a single event.

What it is

Sync has two bots for you:

Bot	What it is for
Main bot @sync_trading_bot	The whole interface: menu, bot creation, settings, trades, subscription
Notification bot @Sync_trading_notifications_bot	Only sends alerts — separately from the menu, so they do not get in the way

The notification bot asks nothing and configures nothing: it understands two commands only — /start and /stop. The language of the messages is the same as the interface language of the main bot.

Where it is in the bot

Main menu → 🔔 Notifications. The screen shows the current state:

• “Notification chat connected ✅” — everything works; the same screen tells you how to disconnect;
• “Notification chat is not connected.” — with the name of the notification bot and a hint on how to connect it.

Right after registration the bot also reminds you: “Connect the notification bot to receive trade alerts in a separate chat. Open @Sync_trading_notifications_bot and press /start.”

How to connect

1. In the main bot open 🔔 Notifications and follow the link to the notification bot (or find it in Telegram by its name).
2. Press the “Start” button or send the /start command.
3. The bot replies: “Notification chat activated ✅”.
4. Go back to the main bot — the 🔔 Notifications screen now shows “Notification chat connected ✅”.

You connect it once for the whole account, not for each bot.

How to mute and unmute

• Send /stop in the notification bot chat. The reply: “Notifications disabled. You can re-enable them with /start.”
• To get messages back, send /start in the same chat.

The /stop command switches off delivery only: bots, trades and protections keep working as before. While notifications are off you will not learn about a stop that fired, a bot that was paused or a problem with your keys — turn them back on as soon as you can. Commands of the notification bot

Command	What it does

If you send the notification bot anything else, it replies: “Commands: /start — enable notifications, /stop — disable.”

Common mistakes and what the bot says

• “To use this bot you need an account in Sync Trading Bot” — you pressed “Start” in the notification bot before registering in the main bot. First send /start to @sync_trading_bot, then come back and repeat.
• “You don't have an account in the main bot.” — the same thing for the /stop command: there is nothing to disconnect.
• Events do not arrive although the status says connected — check whether the notification bot is blocked in Telegram, and check the notification mode in the bot card: in the Errors only mode ordinary events are not shown.
