Registration and first steps

There is no separate registration in Sync: your account is your Telegram. It is enough to open the main bot and send /start. No email, no password, no forms.

What this is

After /start the bot creates an account and shows a short setup (onboarding) of several steps. You can go through it right away or skip it — everything in it is also available later from the main menu.

Welcome to SyncTrade! This bot helps you trade on the exchange using signals from Telegram channels. How it works:

1. Create a trading bot and connect your exchange API keys
2. Connect a channel with trading signals

Where it is in the bot

The main bot is @sync_trading_bot. The /start command returns you to the Main menu at any moment; the same command launches the onboarding on your first visit.

How to go through the first steps

Onboarding steps: welcome → connecting a channel → notifications → test trade → summary. Each one has the Next and Skip buttons, the first one has Start setup.

The shortest path to your first automatic trade:

1. Create an exchange bot: Main menu → 🤖 Signal Bots → Create bot — choose the exchange, the trade type (Bybit Spot or Bybit Futures), a name, and send a pair of API keys. In detail — Exchange bot and API keys.
2. Connect a signal channel: the Connect channels button right after creation, or later — bot card → Connect channel. See How to connect to a channel.
3. In the bot card turn on the Auto-trade switch. This is done only by hand — neither the bot nor the channel admin can turn it on for you.
4. Check the Trading settings — at least the trade amount and the leverage (settings overview).
5. Connect the notification bot: Main menu → 🔔 Notifications — without it you will not see a single event. See Main bot and notification bot.

Instead of a channel you can create a Grid bot or a DCA bot right away — they are also created "inside" an exchange bot.

Trial

A new account gets a trial for one bot, and it starts with the first trade, not at the moment of /start. The trial slot is taken by the exchange bot with the keys itself. How many days the trial lasts and what happens afterwards — in the article Trial.

Common errors and what the bot says

• “⚠️ Too many requests. Please wait 30 sec. and try again.” — the rate limit has been reached. Wait for the stated time; nothing has to be restarted.
• “Use menu buttons for navigation. Text input is only available on certain screens.” — you typed text where the bot expects a button press.
• “You currently have no registered bots. To register a bot, go to: Main Menu → My Bots → Create bot” — the exchange bot has not been created yet; start with step 1.
• “To use this bot you need an account in Sync Trading Bot” — this is the answer of the notification bot if you have not pressed /start in the main bot yet. Register there first.
• “You have been redirected to the main menu because a bot update affected the menu you were on” — the bot has been updated; open the screen you need again.
