Promo codes
A promo code in Sync is either a discount on a payment or a voucher with free subscription months. A discount is applied at checkout, a voucher is activated immediately.
What it is

Rules:
- One promo code is not combined with other discounts. If you have a channel discount (“📡 Channel discount 10%: −…”), entering a promo code replaces it with the promo code.
- A partner promo code gives a discount on the first payment; its size is shown in the 🤝 Affiliate section (see Promo codes and tiers). You cannot apply your own partner code to yourself.
- A promo code may have restrictions: a validity period, a number of uses, a specific plan or a minimum subscription period — the bot tells you if the code does not fit.
Where in the bot
A promo code can be entered in three ways:
- 💳 Subscription → 🎟 Promo code: “Send your promo code as a message. A voucher with months activates immediately, a discount applies at checkout”. A discount code is remembered — the subscription screen then shows “🎟 Promo code SYNC2026 will be applied at checkout.”
- In the payment wizard on the 🎟 Promo code step — only discount codes are accepted here. For a voucher the bot asks you to use the subscription screen.
- Through a link of the form
https://t.me/sync_trading_bot?start=promo_CODE— that is what partner links look like. The bot answers: “🎟 Promo code SYNC2026 saved — it will be applied when you pay for the subscription («💳 Subscription» menu).”
How it works
- Enter the code in any of the ways above.
- Discount code: the bot answers “🎟 Promo code SYNC2026 accepted — the discount will apply at checkout.” Go on to the payment-method step — the amount in the “✅ Total” line is already reduced.
- Voucher: the bot answers “🎁 Voucher activated: +2 mo. Subscription is valid until 22.12.2026.” — no payment is needed, and a period with the source “promo code” appears in the history on the subscription screen.
- If you changed your mind about a saved code, tap ✖️ Without promo code on the promo-code step. The ➡️ Skip button does not delete a saved code.
Example with a calculation
The subscription is valid until 22.10.2026. You entered a 2-month voucher on 💳 Subscription → 🎟 Promo code. The bot answered “🎁 Voucher activated: +2 mo. Subscription is valid until 22.12.2026.” — the months were added to the end of the current period, not put in its place.

Common mistakes and what the bot says
- “Promo code not found or inactive.” — check the spelling.
- “This promo code is not valid yet.” / “This promo code has expired.” — the code is outside its validity period.
- “This promo code has already been used the maximum number of times.” / “You have already used this promo code.” — the usage limit is spent.
- “This promo code does not apply to the selected plan.” / “This promo code applies only to longer periods.” — go back and change the plan or the period.
- “This is a voucher with free months — enter it on «💳 Subscription» → «Promo code», it activates immediately.” — you entered a voucher in the payment wizard.
- “You cannot apply your own promo code.” — this is your partner code.
- “Promo codes are currently disabled.” — promo codes are temporarily not accepted.
