The Signal bot card
A Signal bot is the link to your Bybit account (the market type and the API keys) that opens trades from the signals of a connected channel and from your manual trades. The bot card is the main screen from which you control that link.
Where it is in the bot
Main menu → 🤖 Signal Bots → pick a bot from the list. If there are no bots yet, the bot shows “You don't have any registered bots yet” and offers Create bot — see Exchange bot: Bybit Spot and Futures, API keys.
What the card shows
The top block is the state of the bot:

Below it is the Current settings: block — a summary of the trading settings that the bot applies to every signal:

If a setting has no value, the line says “not set” or “from signal”. Every setting is explained in the Trading settings section.
The buttons of the card

How to switch auto-trade on
- Connect a channel with the Connect channel button — see How to connect to a signal channel.
- Check the Current settings: block — the trade amount and the stop-loss above all.
- Press Auto-trade so that the line shows ON.
Auto-trade is only switched on by hand. Neither the bot nor the channel admin can switch it on for you — it is your deliberate action. While the switch is OFF, no trades are opened from the channel signals.
If you have several bots on one channel, the button under the signal gives you a hint: “You have several bots on channel "Name": Bot1, Bot2. Go to: Main menu → My Bots → pick a bot → enable auto-trading with the switch.”
Limits and allowed values

Common errors and what the bot says
- “You don't have any registered bots yet” — the list is empty, start with Create bot.
- “Selected bot does not exist” — the bot was deleted or the screen is out of date; go back to 🤖 Signal Bots and open the list again.
- “The bot was deleted and is no longer available for new operations. Please create a new bot.” — you opened the card of a deleted bot.
