Plans and bot limit
A plan in Sync defines one thing: how many bots you can keep at the same time. The current plan names, the number of bots in each and the price are shown in the bot on the 💳 Subscription — plan step; this article does not quote prices.
What it is
- The unit of a plan is a bot of any type. The first payment step says exactly that: “Choose a plan. A plan unit is a bot of any type: signal, DCA or Grid”.
- If the plan allows it, you can add extra bots on top — billed monthly, for the same period as the subscription. The price of an extra bot is shown in the plan description: “extra bot — …/mo.”
- Paying for several months is cheaper: the period step shows discounted packages and free months (“6 mo. + 1 free”).
Which bots take a slot

A pause does not free the slot: a paused DCA or Grid bot still counts. A Signal bot draft (creation not finished) does not take a slot.
The used slots are shown on the 💳 Subscription screen: “Bots: 2 of 3”. For users with unlimited access the limit is shown as “∞”.
How it works
- You choose a plan in the payment wizard (see How to pay). After activation you get: “✅ Subscription activated: plan «plan name», valid until 22.10.2026. Bot limit: 3.”
- When each new bot is created, Sync checks for a free slot. If there is none, the bot is not created: “🔒 Plan limit reached: 3 bots (3 in use). Stop or delete a bot, or switch to a plan with a higher limit.”
- If you end up with more bots than the limit (for example after moving to a smaller plan or after the trial), DCA and Grid bots keep working, while the surplus Signal bots are locked — starting with the newest. A locked bot does not take signals: “🔒 This bot is locked by the plan limit: you have more bots than the subscription allows. Stop or delete another bot, or upgrade the plan.”
- Free a slot (stop a DCA or Grid bot, or delete a Signal bot) or pay for a bigger plan — the lock is lifted on its own.
Example with a calculation
A plan for 3 bots. You have:
- a Signal bot on futures with two channels — 1 slot;
- a Grid bot on BTCUSDT, running — 1 slot;
- a DCA bot on ETHUSDT, stopped — 0 slots.
That is 2 of 3 in use, so you can create one more bot of any type. If you start the stopped DCA bot, it becomes 3 of 3, and creating a fourth bot is rejected with the limit message. To keep all four, add an extra bot on the 💳 Subscription — bots step (if the plan allows it) or choose a plan with a higher limit.

Common mistakes and what the bot says
- “🔒 Plan limit reached: 3 bots (3 in use). Stop or delete a bot, or switch to a plan with a higher limit.” — free a slot or upgrade the plan.
- “🔒 This bot is locked by the plan limit: you have more bots than the subscription allows…” — this Signal bot is over the limit; stop another bot or pay for a bigger plan.
- “🔒 Signal from channel «Crypto Signals» for bot «MY_FUTURES» was skipped.” — the reason follows below: a plan-limit lock, the grace period or view-only mode.
- “Plans are not configured yet. Please contact support.” — payment is temporarily unavailable, write to support.
