Channel settings: who can do what

A channel in Sync has no usual settings page: almost everything is done with commands in the channel or with buttons in the cabinet, and some properties are changed by Sync staff only. Here is who controls what.

Three roles

• Anyone who can publish in the channel — the commands in the channel itself. Telegram does not tell the bot which of the admins wrote the post, so commands work for all authors of the channel.
• The channel owner — whoever first added the main bot as an administrator. Only they see the 📢 Channel administration cabinet and receive private messages about problems with signals.
• Sync staff — on request through support.

What a channel does not have

• Trading settings. Amounts, leverage, the margin type, shares across entries and targets and stops are set by subscribers on their side — the channel only publishes the levels.
• A test mode. A test signal opens real trades for everyone who has auto-trade on.
• A switch for stop notifications. They cannot be hidden to make the channel look loss-free — see Channel notifications and the honesty rules.
• Transfer of ownership from the interface. Only through support.

How this works in practice

• A channel has two admins and both publish signals. Both can close a signal with /close in the channel. The cabinet with the statistics is seen only by the one who added the main bot.
• Signals are published by a bot of your own. It can send commands to the channel, but it does not become the owner — the owner is always a person (Autoposting).
• If you want to remove the “entry price reached” notifications from the channel and keep only take-profits and stops, write to support: the “entries” and “take-profits” groups are switched by staff. Stops stay in any case.
• The number of members in the “Channel subscribers” line is refreshed in the background from Telegram data — it is an estimate and cannot be influenced.

Common mistakes and what the bot says

• No 📢 Channel administration button — you are not the owner. Changing the owner goes through support.
• “⛔ You do not have access to administrate this channel.” — the cabinet of someone else's channel was opened.
• “ℹ️ The SYNC channel is already active — everything is running. Stop: /deactivate.” — the channel is already on.
