Channel notifications and the honesty rules

Once a signal is recognized, the bot follows the price around the clock and posts in the channel by itself when the price reaches an entry, a target or the stop. These notifications are counted by the same rules for every channel and cannot be bypassed — which is why channel statistics are trusted.

How it works

The bot checks live prices every 5 seconds, and once a minute additionally reconciles everything against one-minute candles of the same market (a spot signal — against spot), so a one-second touch of a level between checks is not lost. The notification goes to the channel as a reply to the signal post; if the post was deleted — as an ordinary message. Messages in the channel are always in Russian.

Opposite signal🔁 Signal closed: an opposite direction signal (…) for the same pair was posted in this channel. Price tracking for this signal has stopped. Open subscriber trades keep running with their own settings.

Every notification is signed: “ℹ️ Theoretical calculation — based on price reaching the level on the exchange, leverage included. Actual results depend on each user settings.”

What “theoretical” means

The percentage is counted from the entry price to the price of the level and multiplied by the leverage from the signal; for a spot signal (without leverage) it is the plain price move. This answers the question whether the price reached the level, not whether somebody's trade was filled. A subscriber has their own entry price, their own leverage and their own fees — their result differs, and that is normal. Notifications are posted even if nobody trades the signal.

Example with a calculation

A signal: leverage 10x, entry 85000, first target 87000, stop 82900.

  • The price touched 87000: (87000 − 85000) / 85000 = 2.35%; × 10 = +23.5% in the notification.
  • The price touched 82900 before the targets: (82900 − 85000) / 85000 = −2.47%; × 10 = −24.7%.

A subscriber with 2x leverage will get about +4.7% on the same move — that is not a discrepancy, just different leverage.

The honesty rules

They cannot be bypassed — neither by the channel admin nor by subscribers:

  • A take-profit counts only from the candle after the entry. There are no instant take-profits on a single volatile candle.
  • If within one minute the price touched both a take-profit and the stop, the stop counts.
  • After the first take-profit, entries are no longer counted — the remaining entries do not affect the result.
  • Stop notifications cannot be switched off. Neither by the channel admin nor by subscribers.
  • The notification groups “entries” and “take-profits” are switched on and off only by Sync staff on request through support — but stops are never switched off.

With tight levels (scalping) these rules will show up in the statistics — that is by design.

Common questions

  • The channel said a take-profit was reached, but the subscriber's trade is still open. The price touched the level with a candle wick and the subscriber's order did not have time to fill. The notification is fair and so is the trade — details in The channel says TP hit, but I did not get it.
  • The channel shows +23% while a subscriber reports +2%. The channel shows the percentage with the leverage from the signal; the subscriber has their own leverage and their own entry price.
  • Can stop notifications be removed so the channel looks loss-free? No.
