What a Grid bot sends

All events of a Grid bot arrive in the separate notification bot. Without it you will see neither the fills nor the pauses — connect it once, see The main bot and the notification bot.

The notification mode

The 🔔 Notifications: Realtime button in the bot card switches the mode in a circle: Realtime → Every 15 min → Hourly → Daily summary → Errors only. Digests are covered in detail in Notification modes and the digest.

Critical ones are a stop by the system, the kill switch, a Stop-Loss firing, pauses from the protections, a bot closing, a change of the position mode, exchange maintenance and the order limit. Warnings (not enough balance, maintenance) go into the digest but are not dropped even in the “Errors only” mode.

The reasons for pauses and closes: the price leaving the range, crash protection, margin overload, closeness to liquidation, a series of errors, the Stop-Loss, a stop by the user, a grid recreate. The full texts and what to do are in Protections.

General account messages

They are not tied to a single bot, but they concern Grid too:

• “⚠️ Grid bot #12 was paused by the system. Reason: … Active orders have been cancelled on the exchange. To resume — open the bot in the menu and tap 'Resume'.”
• “🚨 Position mode changed on the exchange” — the bot is in a hard pause, bring One-Way back.
• “🚨 KILL SWITCH TRIGGERED. All your Grid/DCA bots are paused due to reaching the account-level max drawdown…” — see Kill switch.
• “⚠️ You are using 400 of 500 active orders on the exchange…” — see Exchange order limit.
• Exchange maintenance, a lost connection, “⚠️ PnL mismatch detected” — see the section Notifications and account protection.

Example with a calculation

A Long grid 60,000 — 66,000, 11 levels of 10 USDT, the mode “Every 15 min”. Three cycles of ≈ 0.09 USDT closed over a quarter of an hour: one digest arrives with three lines “💰 … SELL filled … Profit: +0.09 USDT”, and Realized P&L in the card grows by 0.27 USDT. If at the same time the price leaves the range, “⏸️ … paused” arrives immediately, without waiting for the digest.

Common mistakes and what the bot says

• Nothing arrives — check that the notification bot is connected: Main menu → 🔔 Notifications → “Notification chat connected ✅”. After /stop in the notification bot the events are dropped until you send /start.
• Fills arrive with a delay of about a minute even in the “Realtime” mode — that is by design, ordinary events are sent in a batch.
• A single “⚠️ PnL mismatch detected” needs no action; if it repeats, write to support.
